Workshop on Grain Marketing, Tuesday November 17
Farmers are invited to attend a workshop on grain marketing on Tuesday, November 17, in Davenport. Jon Newkirk, WSU Extension Economist, will emcee a webinar discussion of grain markets. Topics will include a world and local overview of markets, grain marketing strategies, and tools to create a marketing plan. Discussion will also include how to make the most of webinars, which are a new and upcoming educational tool you can access easily from home.
The workshop will be held at the Davenport Memorial Hall (511 Park St, Davenport) from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. It is free and open to anyone interested and a hosted breakfast will be available. Please RSVP by November 13 to the Lincoln County Conservation District at 509-725-4181 extension 3.
